The recording appeared on Gennett 6311, Champion 15420 (as Malcolm Webb and His Gang), and Sentry 4011. The recording featured Hoagy Carmichael (p), Andy Secrest (c), Bob Mayhew (c), Tommy Dorsey (tb), Jimmy Dorsey (as), Nye Mayhew (ts), and Mischa Russell (f). The Champion release sold approx. 700 copies.

 

The B-side? Oh, that was “Star Dust.”
