February 17th in Gennett History…

February 17th in Gennett History, 1936:  The Mound City Blowers recorded “You Hit the Spot” in NYC.  This recording occurred for the Decca label who had recently licensed the Champion trademark from Harry Gennett.  The recording appeared on Champion 40098.
