November 15th in Gennett History, 1922: Bailey’s Lucky Seven recorded “Bee’s Knees” in NYC. The recording appeared on Gennett 5004, Apex 451, and Starr-Gennett 9321. The recording featured Phil Napoleon (?-c), Jules Levy, Jr (c), Carlie Panelli (tb), Loring McMurray and Jimmy Lytell (as/cl), unknown (p), Nick Lucas (bjo), and Jack Roth (d).
