August 20th in Gennett History, 1926: Ernest Stoneman recorded “Katy Cline” in NYC.  The recording appeared on Gennett 3381, Challenge 151, and Herwin 75528.  In addition to Stoneman (v), the track also featured Bolen Frost (bjo).
