April 5th in Gennett Records History, 1928: Vic Price and His Orchestra recorded “I’m More Than Satisfied” in NYC. It appeared on Gennett 6440, Superior 376 (Bailey’s Jazz Pirates), Bell 605 (Andy Richards ahO), Herwin 8059 (Sherman Sun-Dodgers), and Champion 15494 (The Dixie Ramblers). The Champion issue sold 834 copies in 1928 and 1929. The track featured Arthur Fields (vox), Leo McConville (c), Larry Abbot (sax/cl), poss. Frank Marvin (uke), and several other musicians that are unfortunately unknown.
