March 22nd in Gennett History, 1952: Uncle Dave Macon passed away. He recorded “Don’t Get Weary Children” on August 15, 1934 with Kirk and Sam McGee. It appeared on Champion S-16822, Champion 45048, Decca 5369, and Montgomery Ward 8029.
