Lonnie Johnson Gennett Walk of Fame Medallion

Happy 117th Birthday, Lonnie Johnson (2/8/1899). The legendary guitarist recorded several sides, some with Jimmy Blythe, under the pseudonym George Jefferson in Richmond on December 13 and 14, 1927, which included the track “It’s Hot, Let it Alone” from Gennett 6423.
