Oct. 13th in Gennett History, 1936: The sound effects division recorded The New York Central Lines’ Commodore Vanderbilt Leaving Station with the Cry of “All Aboard” twice – whistle – wheels slipping. The recording appeared on Gennett Sound Effects 1308.
