Duke Ellington Gennett Walk of Fame Medallion

August 12th in Gennett History, 1924: Wilbur Sweatman and His Acme Syncopators recorded two sides in NYC. The two recordings “Battleship Kate” and “She Loves Me” were unissued. Both sides, though featured Duke Ellington on piano.
