June 22nd in Gennett History, 1927: Nathan Glantz and His Orchestra recorded “Carnival” in NYC.  The recording appeared on Gennett 6197, Gennett Sound Effects 0108, and Bell 577.  The recording card noted that this was “A special recording for the foreign department.”
