May 7th in Gennett History, 1927: Da Costa Woltz’s Southern Broadcasters recorded “Evening Star Waltz” in Richmond.  It appeared on Gennett 6240.  The track featured Frank Jenkins (bjo), Da Costa Woltz (bjo), and Ben Jarrell (f).
