Pace Jubilee Singers Gennett Walk of Fame Medallion

Mar. 2nd in Gennett History, 1927: The Pace Jubilee Singers recorded “Steal Away and Pray” in Chicago. It appeared on Gennett 6072, Black Patti 8011, Champion 15249, Herwin 92011, and QRS R-7017. Hattie Parker and Henry Pace appear as vocalists. The Champion issue sold approx. 1200 copies in 1927 and 1928.
