Feb. 22nd in Gennett History, 1933: Le Roy Anderson “The Red Headed Brier Hopper” recorded four sides in Richmond. This recording of “Little Bessie” was recorded on 8/24/1934 and appeared on Champion S-16820 and 45059, Gennett 6720, and Supertone 9324. This video was created by his grandson and contains many great photos.

    The Gennett and Supertone issues cited above are incorrect; they are recordings of “Little Bessie,” but by Holland Puckett.
