Happy 113th Birthday, George Brunies! (2/6/1902). Brunies recorded with Friar’s Society Orchestra, the New Orleans Rhythm Kings and the Wolverine Orchestra at Gennett. His first session at Gennett was with Friar’s Society Orchestra. “Bugle Call Blues” was recorded on 8/29/1922 in Richmond and appeared on Gennett 4967.
