Sept. 24th in Gennett History, 1929: Bluesman, Blind Lemon Jefferson’s Recordings from the Gennett Studio Causes a Paradigm Shift in Popular Blues. He recorded 12 sides in the Gennett Studios in Richmond for Paramount. Some of these recordings included “Yo Yo Blues” and “Mosquito Man.”
