June 3rd in Gennett History, 1922: Homer Rodeheaver recorded six sides in NYC for Gennett and Rainbow. These recordings included “An Evening Prayer,” “God Will Take Care of You,” “The Church in the Wildwood,” “The Sinner and the Song,” “We’ll Say “Good-Night” Here,” and “When the World Forgets.” The Criterion Quartette appears on two of them.
