Happy 110th Birthday, Jimmy Dorsey! (2/29/1904). Dorsey recorded alto sax on “One Night in Havana” with Hoagy Carmichael on 10/28/127 in Richmond. It appeared on Gennett 6311, Gentry 4011, & Champion 15420. The Champion release sold 700 copies in 1928.
