Feb. 6th in Gennett History, 1902: Trombonist, George Brunies was born. At Gennett he recorded with Friar’s Society Orchestra, the New Orleans Rhythm Kings & the Wolverine Orchestra. His first session at Gennett was with Friar’s Society Orch. “Bugle Call Blues” was recorded on 8/29/1922 in Richmond and appeared on Gennett 4967.
